POST Certified Plan IV

This course is designed to prepare patrol officers, arriving first on scene critical incidents, to be an effective Leader until relieved by an on scene law enforcement supervisor. The course provides officers knowledge, tactics and insight helpful to develop, initiate and successfully complete a credible plan of action to help mitigate critical incident circumstances including significant acts of violence and terrorism. Students are exposed to case studies and participate in tabletop exercises that allow them to apply this information to critical incidents encountered in the field.

This course can be hosted by any CA law enforcement agency. This eight (8) hour class is POST Certified - Plan IV. Tuition = $98

Pre-requisite: When funded by BAUASI, attendees must be full-time peace officers employed within the twelve-county Bay Area UASI Region which includes the counties of Marin, Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Contra Costa, Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito, Monterey and San Francisco.
