Workplace Threats, Violence and Active Shooter
This 4-hour course is designed for government, corporate and nonprofit organizations with civilian employees and volunteers. The course highlights responsibilities for Emergency Preparedness and Response Protocols to address the risks associated with Workplace Threats, Violence and Active Shooter incidents.
It is a fact that the immediate actions taken during a critical incident save more lives than emergency first responders. Statistically, once an active shooter incident starts a life is taken every 15 seconds. It is imperative personnel in the workplace act quickly to implement a response to workplace threats and violence. During this course, attendees receive informative presentations on the history and dynamics of active shooter incidents in the workplace; Awareness - Preparation & Response tactics for personnel; Behaviors Of Concern & Reporting Strategies; the Threat Assessment process; Defensive Workplace Mindset and the Law Enforcement Response.
